About Me + What I’ve been up to:

I’m an only child who was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, but growing up, I always called our Shih Tzu “Wonton” my big sister. My dad named me after his favorite race car driver, my last name is Thai, and my middle name is “Bleu” (like the cheese), and I actually feel like this is a very accurate representation of the person I am.

After spray painting my hair green every night as my starring role of Oompa Loompa #3 in my middle school’s production of Willy Wonka, I knew that performing was what I wanted to do. My first professional theatre experience was in new musical Webb’s City in St. Pete. After the leading actress was unable to make it down due to Hurricane Irma (in typical Florida fashion), I stepped into the leading role 2 days before opening and stayed with the production through its most recent run in 2019.

“Senna is splendid — poised, confident, with a pristine singing voice”

After this show, I was awarded “Best Actress in a Musical” my senior year at Florida’s Broadway Star of the Future Awards and had the honor of representing the state at the Jimmy Awards in NYC for my rendition of Ella in Cinderella. There, I was awarded “Best Performance in an Ensemble” by the Broadway League and Disney Theatrical Productions.

“Senna’s performance as Ella in Cinderella won the hearts of judges, who voted her female Broadway Actress in a Musical.”

That same year, I moved to NYC to begin my time at NYU Tisch, where I played leading and principal roles in 3 plays, 4 musicals, a production through my school’s physical acting company, as well as many new works.

My senior year, I played leading role Jean Maitland in NYU’s production of Edna Ferber and George S. Kaufman’s play Stage Door, as well as principal role Liliane La Fleur in NYU’s production of the musical Nine. I also assistant directed the NYU Tisch Physical Acting Company show This is a ___ Story, and in May 2023, I graduated with my B.F.A. from Tisch and B.S. from Steinhardt.

Most recently, I was a “Player” in the concert version of Pippin at The New York Symphony Space, starring J. Harrison Ghee, Kate Baldwin, Adrianna Hicks, and more. I also recently performed at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre in “Legacy: An Evening with Maria Friedman and Friends,” directed by Chris Gattelli. Before this, I played Louise Lebreton in the 29-hour reading of the new musical The Hello Girls with The Michael Cassel Group, and I just returned to the production this May with performances at The Kennedy Center in D.C. and The New York Symphony Space through the Prospect Theatre Company.
